We’re always on the lookout for creative and motivated scientists interested in tackling societal challenges to join us. Here are some of the openings we have available now:

Grad Students

We look for graduate students with a strong sense of curiosity and a drive to excel. Those currently enrolled in a Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii can email Prof. Ray to discuss research opportunities. Prospective students interested in joining the group must first submit an application to the University of Hawaii Department of Mechanical Engineering. Undergrads

We welcome any interested undergraduates that are independent, driven, and intellectually curious. Please contact Prof. Ray to discuss potential projects.
